Late spring & early summer in the Northern Rockies can mean frequent thunderstorms and quite often, lightning.  These storms often occur in the late afternoon & early evening and can cause havoc for baseball schedules as well as occasionally causing safety issues due to the inherent dangers of being outdoors during an active thunder/lightning event.

All coaches are responsible for knowing this material and acting responsibly in times of game/practice conflict with potentially dangerous weather. When we abide by these policies, we can be safe and play ball.
